Surprisingly, despite Kaido contributing to the chapter page, he still did not make any reaction/review blog post. So it's another job for this lousy MF to take over. CHAP[TER] REVIEW *claps* CHAP[TER] REVIEW *claps*
I was supposed to do this review last night but it's already past 11 pm here in the Philippines. I think it's not healthy to continue posting this anymore so I decided to continue doing it this morning. I won't also be doing pun polls because this is not the way I do my comedy. The point here is that this particular flashback solved almost anything that's needed to be asked about the origins of the Kozukis. We just have to dive into the details.
So the Kozuki Family members have been named: Sukiyaki the grandpa, Oden the dad, Toki the mom, and Hiyori the little sister. Of course, everyone was just shown in silhouettes because it might just be the beginning of an another, definitely Big Mom-length flashback which might happen in the next set of chapters. But this is One Piece so who knows or bothers what would happen? And Toki's power is just decent to me. Sure it might be surprising to some that this type of power is being introduced but there's the most important killing words, fan fiction. What kept me from almost disliking the fruit's powers is the limitation of only being able to travel into the future and that can't be reversed.
The reactions of the crew upon hearing the story of Oden having executed despite being liked by the people made me reminisce about Robin, Usopp and Franky's reaction upon hearing Doflamingo leaving the Shichibukai in Dressrosa and its succeeding rebuttal. Actually no, more intense than that because everyone around plus Inuarashi was crying. And to the final part, we see some forty-seven rōnin adaptation in the works so I'm pretty sure everyone in Japan might perceive this story of Wano Arc's climax different than us non-Japanese.
Oh, and another thing. The worst thing that would happen next week? No chapter. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
