First of all, shame on Kaido for slacking off on last week's review, he has the even numbered chapters while I have the odd numbered chapters. Second, it was kinda hard thinking up of a 9/11 joke with the title especially when I could have used some Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams joke, but whatever. Third, let's see how long we can adapt to the new arc princess, Tama.
We start off with knowing how Sanji and Co. survived the storm as Luffy inflated himself like a Dobson drawing and had his crew jump off of him. However, that octopus from the last chapter grabbed onto Luffy and made him and the Sunny get sucked into the whirlpool. Fast forward to the present, as Luffy has survived and lost his Vivre Card from the storm. As Luffy is abo…Read more >
So, we're finally here in Wano and we get to see some familiar faces for the first time in two years. So, let's see how this arc begins.
We start off with the Minks near a random village where Nekomamushi is meeting up with Marco. It seems that Marco is starting to take a Rayleigh-like appearance with the glasses as it's revealed that he was the doctor of the Whitebeard Pirates. Now serving as a village with doctor with his phoenix powers, we get a calmer side of him. It's also revealed that this village is where Whitebeard and Ace are buried and we also get into Weevil. While Weevil and Bakkin are looking for some lost Whitebeard treasure, it turns out Bakkin may have conceived a child with Whitebeard since she was on his ship 40 year…Read more >
Well well well, Oda sure does love Game of Thrones so much that he made a throne inspired by it, but let's get to the chapter.
We start off with Big Mom talking to Kaido of all people about who should beat Luffy as well as something that Kaido owes Big Mom to. Was it likely that Kaido was one of Big Mom's husbands? Was Kaido the father of Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven in a way? There's also a chance of seeing Kizaru in the Wano Arc since he asked Sakazuki on whether or not he should go, but the samurai are a force to be reckon with. It's also good to see Garp being his joyful self again.
We also see Sterry being himself again as he witnesses the Empty Throne which symbolizes the peace around the world even though we don't have any peace,…Read more >
So, we're back at the Reverie as we focus on the Royalties and get a big reveal even though it was a teaser.
We start off at the World's Biggest McDonald's known as New Marineford where once again, Akainu is pissed off about Fujitora and his actions back in Dressrosa. The Reverie Arc will also focus on the Admirals especially Ryokugyu.
At the base of Mariejois, we're introduced to some new kings and queens including a Mexican, some Russian Nesting Dolls, and fucking Abraham Lincoln of all people! More importantly, Princess Shirahoshi is achieving her dreams of exploring the outside world from her underwater kingdom. We finally see adult Stelly who is just as whiny and ugly as usual, but thankfully, Garp is there to put him in his place.…Read more >
Well, we're in a new story arc for the first time in two years. The Reverie is underway and we get some reactions from around the world.
First, we have Sanji trying to distance himself from the Vinsmokes by rejecting his own Raid Suit that was given to him by Niji even though Chopper and Luffy object. If that isn't enough to trigger Sanji, he discovers that his wanted poster now has "Vinsmoke Sanji" on it along with "Dead or Alive." Oh yeah, we got some new bounties and now Sanji's bounty is higher than Zoro's as it's currently at 330 million berries. Another crucial piece of info for the Straw Hats is that Zeus is with Nami now instead of Big Mom. Will Zeus remain with the Straw Hats or does he pull a Vivi and return to Big Mom?
So, l…Read more >
