It looks like the Zou Arc has come to a close. I must say that this is one of the few times the Straw Hats had it easy (other than the fact that Sanji was taken away). The only thing Sanji had to do was beat up Sheepshead and all the fighting that Luffy and Zoro did in this arc were just small scuffles. I’m so used to seeing the Straw Hats (especially Luffy) solve all the big problems that I didn’t even consider the possibility of the elephant being the one to take Jack down, and in one chapter no less. I still remember how long I’ve waited for the Dressrosa Arc (which was over a 100 chapters) to end and this arc lasts about 20 chapters.

After being absent for so long, Nami, Chopper, Brook, and later Sanji will be stepping into the spotlight and now it’s Zoro, Franky, Robin, and Usopp’s turn to not be seen for a while. However, I’m deeply concerned for Nami, Chopper, and Brook since they’re members of the Straw Hats’ Coward Four (which includes Usopp). I hope they don’t actually expect Sanji’s rescue to go real smoothly and they better be prepared to fight and not freeze in terror at the sight of fearsome foes.

Anyway, it’s great to see Vivi again. Shirahoshi and Rebecca on the other hand, not so much. I just hope that Vivi’s fighting skills hasn’t gotten rusty after living peacefully for two years. Who knows? She might have to fight again especially if her father intends to dig too deep into the past. The moment Cobra starts asking about the poneglyphs, the World Government will become suspicious of him and keep a close eye on him.

I’ve said it before a long time ago and I’ll say it again. The World Noble letter Otohime received is a big fat lie. There’s no way the World Nobles will do something for those they consider “lesser beings” unless they have some ulterior motive.

And I was afraid that the event at Baltigo was going to happen off-panel just like the confrontation between Kaido and Kid’s alliance and Jack’s battle with Doflamingo’s Marine escort. Well what can we do? Oda decides how the story goes. I hope that the Reverie, Nekomamushi’s search for Marco, and the samurais’ journey to Wano won’t be off-panel events as well.

Even though Carrot already displayed her fighting capabilities (such as dodging a strike from Zoro), I pray that she can make up for how disappointing Rebecca was.
