Was surprised there were no review blogs of the chapter done by any, at closest related being Nobody700's prediction of the next chapter (734). Maybe everyone is busy / away with the holidays.
Well, this blog is not going to be a full review of each and every part of of the chapter, I don't do a good one at that. Instead, let this be an informal place to talk and discuss about the chapter, sharing thoughts and opinions between bloggers.
Overall I think the current one was plot-stagnant from the last chapter. We don't get any progression of Luffy's side (his movement to the palace), Colosseum's background scene (Barty, the new Lucy), Franky's side, Sunny's side. Even Usopp's side was still at the same place, just about to get moving.
When I got to Mr. Soldier's "too slow" speech, that greatly reminds me of Luffy's same two words speech back then at SA during the PX fight (Reunion). This is cool!
And then we got to know that Rebecca was raised to fight with strength primarily in agility, based on instincts. That, I believe, TSoR may be training Rebecca along the lines of Kenbunshoku Haki.
Then came the last page, meant as the climax of the chapter. Suddenly all are down. That being said means including those expected to win, Cavendish, Rebecca, and other named / introduced contestants. My first guess would be a burst of Haoshoku Haki from someone, so strong that even those strong ones in the D block could not withstand. Second guess would be an ability that could mass knock unconscious, like (just for example) Caesar's Oxygen control ability or maybe some new form of paramecian / logia like fog or something that could suffocate people instantly.
