Streusen[]

When was it stated that he is their leader? He was introduced as the Big Mom Pirates head chef, not Whole Cake Island. And even if he is at least part of them, shouldn't the debout be changed? Rhavkin (talk) 16:39, October 2, 2017 (UTC)

The WCI 31 mentioned working on the previous cake with Streusen when Sanji gave them the cake blueprints. Nothing indicates Streusen is a part of them though Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 16:59, October 2, 2017 (UTC)

The About section says "They serve under Streusen", and we did see the cooks who followed Streusen's orders in his debut (chapter 858), and some were attacked by Big Mom after they failed to provide a wedding cake, so their "real" debout still should be discussed. It could just mean that these guys recognize Streusen's position as Head Chef of the Big Mom Pirates which are the closest thing to a governing party Totto Land has.Observer Supreme 19:42, October 2, 2017 (UTC)

About members[]

I think we should add Sanji as "temporary members". It's a pun of Oda. When Sanji disguised himself became the 32th chefs and 3 - 2 is a number which identifies Sanji.

The three pig minks (there is a taller one) are a reference to "The Three Little Pigs" and the fox mink is a reference to "The fox and the Grapes".

The two disguised Fire Tank Pirates were another joke of Oda. They were added as intruders but they are really helping to realize the second cake as Chiffon's assistants.

What does the number 32 have to do with Sanji? Also, simply being an animal doesn't mean the character is connected to an animal in a fairy tale. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 00:11, December 16, 2017 (UTC)

The Japanese language has various way to "read" the numbers. There are various wordplays about numer and Oda use them in various part of the manga (birthdays, number of members of group, etc.). You could read the Straw Hat Pirates/Miscellaneous page. 32 is San (3) - Ji (2). This wordplay is canon because is part of the code of Thousand Sunny's fridge (from Volume 46).
