Film Gold[]

After watching One Piece Film Gold, Zoro (and Luffy for that matter), both used a new attack, Zoro's was Kokuto Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson, Luffy's was Gear 4: Gomu Gomu no Leo Rex Bazooka. Would this be included in the Anime Only tab? (Really hope they're eventually made canon as well)110.140.49.222 12:59, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

Yes. Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 13:06, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

Etymology[]

Given the construction of the first two of the number (san is three, ni is two) being added to "toryu" shouldn't this be called "ichitoryu"? Why does Zoro drop the 'chi'? talk2ty 06:53, March 8, 2018 (UTC)

It's how Japanese gemination rule works. There are plenty of Japanese words which starts with 一, ichi(one), and are read differently depending on following kanji(for example: 一家, ikka[family], 一歩, ippo[a step], 一千, issen[one thousand], 一帯, ittai[region] and so on). It's same thing with 八, hachi(eight), which is why 一刀流, "One Sword Style" is Ittōryū and 八刀流, "Eight Sword Style" is Hattōryū. JouXIII (talk) 09:38, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
