5th Poll?[]
This is probably more of a forum-related question, but I thought I might as well ask here. Does anyone know when the 5th poll will be held? The Pope 22:42, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
- We usually have new poll when new characters introducing. The only exception was Spypiea saga. Tipota
- The last poll was with the introduction of the Supernovas, right? We've seen a lot since then, like Hancock, Jinbei, Ivankov, Inazuma, Magellan, and a lot of characters got further development (like Whitebeard and Marco). Sorting[]
The polls don't sort too well, probably because of the parenthesis for the number of people voting. Maybe that could be put to the side of the results in a smaller column so people could actually sort through it well? --Imanie 04:29, April 21, 2010 (UTC)
- The problem is not the numbers. Only if you split the poll to four different you can fix that. However, I put them together because you can sort by name and you can see the difference between polls. Tipota 14:49, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Extra 6th Poll Results[]
I added the placements for some additional characters based on volume 87, but I don't know how to make it sort when I hit the sort arrow. The characters just stay where they are

Seventh Poll preemptive strike[]
By the end of the pool we will have over a thousand character in the result table. That is extremely hazardous to the page. I think we should start the discussion and possible work on the page before hand, and I think if we start now there will defiantly be enough time before the results are out.
I see three options, all of whom has their faults:
- Results tab. This will make a list similar in appearance to the character page, and that page layout has worked so far. I don't know why the table was split though, but if is related to the number of lines then this isn't a very feasible option.
- Include only # top characters. This will still be a big table seeing as we'll need to include characters from other polls, even if they are yet to appear or no longer top rated, like we do know.
- Some sort of template that will create a list based on a selected poll, however that would still results in a long list if the seventh is selected, but maybe it can be combined with the second option.

I really should've brought this up sooner, but does anyone have, like, a working archive of the website for the 7th Popularity Poll? The thing officially closed yesterday, and pretty much all the links here going to it are futzed.

When two characters have the same amount of votes (or points), they have the same rank and a number is skipped on the list. Maynard and the humanized Straw Hat are both ranked 174, so there is no 175. Same goes for the missing 193. This is standard competition ranking. Awaikage Talk 09:38, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Mr. 13 and the Unluckies[]
I want to put these two positions to a vote as the fourth poll had one vote (at least I believe one vote) for Mr. 13 and another vote for the Unluckies. Since Mr. 13 is part of the Unluckies and those two positions are tied together, I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two, since Mr. 13 and Miss Friday are ranked differently in the seventh poll. After seeing a counterargument from another user, I decided to put this to a vote to see what others think. I don't know how long the voting process, but definitely something timely.
