Similarity[]
OK, I know this is a stretch for some people which is why I'm putting it here instead of on the page immediately, but hear me out. I think the Memo Memo no Mi is similar enough to http://jojo.wikia.com/wiki/Whitesnake#Abilities to be noted. They both allow removal and editing of memories, and while Whitesnake had the memories removed in disc form, the Memo Memo no Mi has them in reel form. That's close in my mind, but I accept that other people won't agree.

Oh, and if anyone suggests that Memo Memo no Mi refers to the english word memo, it doesn't. That word is ripped from memorandum, meaning a thing to be remembered.

Film reels[]
We've seen that the world of One Piece doesn't have films or television, what with the use of Transponder snails for transporting video, who can only do live feed. So, when Kaido saw Gear 5's Loony toons physics all he had to compare it to was newspaper comics. So why does this Fruit Represent memories as Film reels, when by all accounts they shouldn't exist?
