Merman Weapon-Style[]

dont you think that the three brothers attacks are all apart of the Merman Weapon-Style. not just fukaboshi. oda probably just had fukaboshi say it in order to save space and to keep from being redundant. but thats just my opinion.BlazeKaizer 02:44, October 7, 2011 (UTC)BlazeKaizer

Name?[]

It's not Manboshi. His name is Mamboshi.Smashyoshi (talk) 05:46, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

Why so? LPKWhat?13:04,8/21/2012

Well, he certainly dances right? And the FUNi subs say "Mamboshi".Smashyoshi (talk) 19:43, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

I've been watching FUNi subs ever since before he appeared. I never noticed "Mamboshi".

Thanks. Now I'll never look at him the same way. uknownada Talk 19:59, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

The article says the English versions use Manboshi and not Mamboshi. Besides that it doesn't matter what Funimation uses. SeaTerror (talk) 20:27, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

It does matter, but it doesn't affect what the article name is. We'll just change the English version to "Mamboshi". uknownada Talk 20:32, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

It was a typo. They said Manboshi in the same episode. Galaxy9000 (talk) 20:33, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you. Now I can unsee it. uknownada Talk 20:39, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

The new episode said "Mamboshi". What gives? uknownada Talk 00:54, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Viz Media also uses Mamboshi ☠ D S P ☠ Yo! 01:07, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

It's Manboshi. Run the Japanese through any translator and it'll come up Manboshi.DancePowderer Talk 02:56, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Uuuum as far as I'm aware it's not that clear cut. ン can sound like n and m, although it's always romanised as 'n' under Hepburn romanisation. But the Rumbar Pirates are a good example of ン being able to have an 'm' sound, particular when it precedes 'b'. It's the same reason why there was so much controversy as to how Jinbe's name was romanised (i.e. most people thought it was Jimbei until the official romanisation was given).

Having said that, no official romanisation has been provided for Manboshi, so it's up in the air at this point in time, and I don't see any real need to change it. Zodiaque             03:11, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

But i think the English name section should be changed to Mamboshi ☠ D S P ☠ Yo! 03:15, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

If it said Mamboshi in one of the volumes, then you don't really need to argue just the English name.DancePowderer Talk 03:20, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Just add that it's Mamboshi so this arguement I started can finally end.Smashyoshi (talk) 06:45, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
