Soro is Helmeppo's pet wolf that scared Shell Town's citizen. Soro attacked Rika, when Roronoa Zoro was in the Town and saved her by killing Soro.
Helmeppo, mad that Zoro killed his dog, reported the incident to Morgan, making Zoro send to confinement. In facts, Zoro stated it was Death Penalty.
