Official Animation Guide: One Piece White! is the third animation guide which covers episodes from the first half of the series. It contains the Straw Hat Pirates's linearts.

Contents[]

The guide is composed of eight primary sections, called "record guides" (記録指針, kiroku shishin?). They are each themed around different things, and use a specific group's symbol to visualize them. The first seven sections also include "confrontations" into various aspects of the series, conducted by Don Luffione, Don Zoroscia, and Don Sanjino, who are competing to find out which of them is most honorable.

The guidebook is centered around the idea of "honorable men" (, han?).

The section begins with a world timeline, beginning with the planting of the Tree of Knowledge on Ohara and concluding with Gol D. Roger's execution. It then explains specific topics in more detail, such as the World Government, the Five Elders, the rise of pirates, and the top Marine Ranks. After the general explanations, it begins covering specific summaries, opening with the Edd War and following with character summaries:

Following the cast interviews, members of the anime staff over the show's history are asked the same questions.
