Character Pages[]

Character Pages should be started with a brief encyclopedic description of a character. This should be short and give an overview of the character.

Appearance[]

This describes in detail the overall appearance of the character. The description should contain notes on important details such as tattoos and personal item of importance. The description should contain enough detail to give a reader an idea on what the character looks like without a visual aid, such a picture to help them.

Personality[]

How the character acts.

Relationships[]

How the character feels towards other characters.

Abilities and Powers[]

Full details on what the character can do, both inside and outside of battles.

Weapons[]

Give details on any weapons used and how they are used.

<Insert Name> Arc[]

Major Battles[]

If possible, supply any details of any major battles the character took part in and against who.

Note: "Major Battles" cover most clashes that the character is involved in. However, ambushes and chases do not count as battles. In order for something to be a battle, the involved parties must all be trying to attack an opponent, defend themselves from opponents' attacks, or consciously get in their opponent's way.

Translation and Dub Issues[]

Explains things about a character that are lost in translation or are changed in the English versions (the Viz Manga, 4Kids dub, and FUNimation dub).

Naviboxes

Devil Fruit Pages[]

Give basic information about the fruit here: the fruit's name, its type, a basic description of its ability, and its user(s). Template: The <Fruit Name> is a <Fruit Type>-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to <Fruit Ability>. It was eaten by <Fruit User>.

Etymology[]

This section is written in bullets. First, the meaning of the fruit's name in English is given. Afterwards, the names used by the official translations are given, along with an explanation for why those translations were used if necessary.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

This gives an overview of the fruit's general abilities, split up by strengths and weaknesses. If this section is sufficiently long, use subheaders for the strengths and weaknesses.

Although a fruit's strengths and weaknesses are frequently seen in the manner it is used by the current user, the user's name should only be mentioned when absolutely necessary, with most descriptions of a fruit's power ideally just saying "the user" in a general sense to apply to anyone who may eat the fruit.

All Devil Fruits are weak to seawater and Seastone. Rather than having to explicitly note this on every new Devil Fruit page, you can simply say "The user is also affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

Usage[]

Give detail on how the fruit's powers were used in the story, whether for combat purposes or other. If a fruit has multiple users, subsections should be added for each user. Named techniques involving the fruit's power should be listed, in the format:

English name(kanji, Japanese name, literal meaning): description of move, first use.

History[]

This section is about events that happen to the fruit itself. Since many fruits do not actually appear in the story, this section is not common among Devil Fruit pages. Unless the consumption of the Devil Fruit and the circumstances around it are shown on-panel or onscreen, there is no need to add this section just to say, "<Fruit> was eaten by <User> at an unknown point in the past."
