[edit] Characters

[edit] Main

All of the main characters get new costumes much like they did in Unlimited Adventure. Each character's new costume features an animal theme. The Thousand Sunny can also be explored, unlike in Unlimited Adventure where it remained stationary on the beach. From Zoro's design it was revealed that this game includes his new katana Shuusui.[1]

[edit] Costume Themes

All crew members have animal based themed costumes. Early screenshots of Brook showed him dressed in his normal clothes, however Brook was later given his own animal themes costume. By going to the lockers in Thousand Sunny you can switch all of the characters costumes from animal themed to the clothes they normally wear. (Clothing from Thriller Bark Arc.)

[edit] Other Information

Brook now has the ability to run on water, much like in the anime and manga, Franky can build bridges and ladders (Acting in a way similiar to the points where Gaburi is used), and Usopp can only become Sogeking through his C + Shake attack (Where in Unlimited Adventure, it was an alternate costume) and can use the Impact Dial. Nami also can use her Waver. The main characters movesets have also been upgraded from Unlimited adventure so they can now utilize moves from recent chapters from the manga, as well as old moves that weren't included in Unlimited Adventure.

[edit] Characters

According to the information released by Famitsu, the Marines and The Enforcers will make an appearance[2]. Wapol, Buggy the Clown, Captain Kuro, Don Krieg [3], Arlong, and Enel [4] have all been confirmed as Bosses in the game. From the looks of it: Wapol and Buggy will appear in a plant-developed environment, and Enel appears to be in a clearing in a forest with the Spaceys. Buggy will be able to use his powers obtained from the Bara Bara No Mi and his Super Cannon, Wapol will be able to transform using his Baku Baku Factory. Spandam and Aokiji have been seen in a screen shot together, so they are most likely bosses in the game. From recent screenshots, some bosses will be partnered up.

[edit] Minor Enemies

[edit] Gaburi

An original character, Gaburi (pronounced Gabriell in the US and Gabri in the European version, Luffy named it in the beginning of the game as all it spoke was "Gabu!") has been shown in the latest scan. He was design by Eiichiro Oda and is said to be a "cute demon" with the ability to expand its portions. [5] In part 2, an angel version of Gabriell will replace him in the story line. It appears he will be Unlimited Cruise's answer to Unlimited Adventure's Popora. A screenshot has also confirmed that the game's roster will be split into five categories: Marines and World Government, Pirates, Skypeia characters, Thriller Bark characters, and a "New enemies" category with a leaf symbol. He is voiced by Rie Kugimiya.

[edit] Locations

From screenshots from Famitsu scans, and the Namco Bandai page there are 4 different islands in Episode 1; A winter island, a beachy desert island with a seashell, called, the Seashell Beach, jungle island with a giant coral reef surrounding it, and an island with a giant tree and waterfalls under it. It also shows that the Thousand Sunny can be explored, showing many of the rooms inside of it. In the Tankōbon version of One Piece manga, Oda drew detailed interior design for Thousand Sunny including each piece of furniture and passage ways. From the current preview it seems Unlimited Cruise kept Oda's design down to exact detail down to the patterns on the walls and furniture.

In Episode 2, five locations are known so far: a desert location that looks like Arabasta, and a dark, murky, ruinous place that looks reminiscent of Thriller Bark. The Thousand Sunny is an stage, however, it is not an island. There is also an Island that looks similar to the "Seaside Zone" of Unlimited Adventure, but lightly edited.also a floating island 4. The final island is where to fight Yami, it also looks similar like in Episode 1, and is a confirmed stage.

[edit] Trivia

  • Although the word "Cola" is clearly spoken, in the European version of the opening scene when Usopp activates Channel 0, the subtitle text reads that it is "Soda Powered." The reason for this change is unknown.
  • Because he had yet to fight in the series when the game was made, Whitebeard fights with his tubes attached in this game while in the series he fights without them. The opposite goes for his devil fruit.
