Buggy Balls

The Buggy Balls (バギーたま, Bagii Dama) are Buggy's special designed weapons. These red bombs, engraved with Buggy's Jolly Roger, being projected by a cannon, can create quite a devastating explosion. These balls were first used against Orange Town, two of them were enough to leave the town half-damaged. They first appeared in Chapter 10 and Episode 5.

Later in Impel Down, Buggy has shown a modified version of the Buggy Ball, renamed the Muggy Ball (マギーたま, Magii Tama), which he compacted it into a size small enough to be concealed into a person's body, but retain full destructive powers of the Buggy Ball (in essence, similar to a hand grenade). This was first used against the Minotaurus, where Buggy kicked the Muggy Ball from the sleeve of his pants, and the resulting explosion injured the Demon Guard severely, but it was still conscious and standing. They first appeared in Chapter 532.
