Moda is a milk maiden^[2] that Ace met during his cover story. She is daughter of Koda and Kyuji.

AppearanceEdit

Moda is a young girl with shoulder-length, light-colored hair that is half covered by a bandanna. She wears a long skirt decorated with an intricate pattern with a plain top and white boots.

HistoryEdit

She saved Ace from the river after he was kicked into it by Doctor Black Beard, an angry chef Ace had skipped out on, and several others.^[3] And he returned the favor by reuniting Moda with her parents who are working as cooks on one of the Marines' ships.^[4][5]

One Piece Green: Secret Pieces revealed a sketch of an older Moda from Oda's notebook.

TriviaEdit

• "Moda" in Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, German, and Romanian means "fashion". In Japanese, this may be a pun on "moh", which is the sound cows make.
