| Chapter 546: "Captain of the Fishman Pirates, Shichibukai Jinbei"
Due to Level 1's temperature, Mr. 3 can use his powers to stop Magellan's poison. Luffy, outfitted in a wax battlesuit from Mr. 3, stays to fight Magellan with Mr. 3 and some prisoner so that Jinbei's group can take a ship outside. When they emerge, expecting to fight against ten Marine battleships, they panic, finding that all the ships have left, on Magellan's orders. Jinbei reveals his incredible power underwater and pushes Crocodile, Mr. 1 and Buggy on a door towards a battleship on the horizon. Using a waterspout, all three of them land on the deck of the ship and start attacking the marines.

| Episode 405: "Disappearing Crewmates - The Final Day of the Straw Hat Crew"
Zoro disappears as the real Bartholomew Kuma arrives at the battle. Luffy tell everyone to run, but Kuma catches up with Sanji, Usopp and Brook. Brook attempts to protect them, but also disappears. Sanji rages and attacks but gets pushed away and Usopp is the next one to disappear. Sanji rushes to attack again and vanishes as well. Luffy activates Gear Second, and runs to Kuma, but can't stop Kuma from sending Franky and Nami away. Kizaru is disappointed and say that he never trusts pirates. After a short conversation with Silvers Rayleigh that arouses Kizaru's suspicion, Kuma stand in front of Chopper. Chopper, in Monster Point, attacks Kuma and disappears. Luffy, in desperation, runs to save the last one, Robin, but Kuma is faster than him, use his power on Robin. Luffy falls and breaks down, distraught that he couldn't save his crew. Kuma bids Luffy goodbye and sends him away. The Straw Hat Pirates are completely defeated.
