Kappei Yamaguchi

Kappei Yamaguchi (山口勝平 Yamaguchi Kappei, born May 23, 1965) is a widely popular Japanese voice actor (seiyū), who has voiced characters in anime, audio dramas, and video games. Like other seiyū, he has occasionally released some solo CD albums.

He is most known for the roles of Ranma Saotome (Ranma ½), Tombo (Kiki's Delivery Service), Shinichi Kudo and Kaito Kid (Detective Conan), InuYasha (InuYasha), Usopp (One Piece), L/Ryuuzaki (Death Note), and Raimon Tarou/Monta (Eyeshield 21).

In a recent interview, Kappei Yamaguchi stated that all of the Straw Hat crew's VAs are just like their characters in real life. He also said that he'd love to get together and be real-life pirates with them.
