Confirmed Spoilers:
- Brook meets the crew
- Brook invites himself to dinner
- Brook tells the crew he was a former pirate who was killed along with his crew
- Brook explains he was a Devil Fruit user who ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi Devil Fruit.
- The Devil Fruit allowed him to be reborn once.
- It took him a year to find his body - by then there was nothing left but bleached bones.
- Brook has no shadow, reflection... Or manners.
- His missing shadow is due to someone stealing it, if he goes outside during the day he will die.
- He witnessed someone else effected with the same thing dieing before his eyes.
- He refuses the invitation to join Luffy's crew because he would not be able to go out during the day.
- Luffy offers to get it back, but Brook refuses help.
- Brook is a musician
- A ghost appears and frightens him and startles the others.
- The island Thriller Bark appears.
- Brooks goes ahead to the island, Luffy wants to go also despite being told not to by Brook.

- The Thousand Sunny has a bath.
- The Straw Hats find a offering casket to the God of death.
- They come across a huge battered ship.
- Turns out to be a ghost ship.
- The "Gentleman Skeleton" Brook appears.
- Luffy asks him to join their crew.
- He accepts.

- Shanks overwhelms the younger members of Whitebeard's crew with his haki.
- Shanks' hometown is in the West Blue.
- Blackbeard gave Shanks his scar.
- Blackbeard has been hiding behind Whitebeard, refusing all ranks offered to him.
- Whitebeard regards his crew as his sons.
- Shanks + Buggy were crewmates on board Roger's ship.
- They were in Loguetown on the day of Roger's death, they parted ways that day and haven't seen each other since.
- Whitebeard mentions the fights between Shanks + Mihawk.
- Shanks is afraid Ace isn't ready to take on Blackbeard.
- Shanks was unable to convince Whitebeard that Ace must stop seeking Blackbeard, even though Blackbeard, even with warnings Blackbeard is after his rank.
- Whitebeard and Shanks fight.

- The name of the 2nd half of the Grand Line is 'the New World'.
- Dr. Vegapunk the Military Scientist is the leading expert in things like Devil Fruit research.

- Luffy was originally being trained by Garp to be a Marine.
- The new and improve Koby and Helmeppo attack Luffy and Zoro, they lose.
- Luffy and Ace were left in the care of another person, Shanks was at Luffy's village during this time.
- Garp accusing Shanks of 'poisoning Luffy'.
- Garp used to put Luffy and Ace through tough training.

- The Oro Jackson, Gold Roger's ship, was made of a type of wood called the 'Adam Tree'.
- Their belongings including Nami's trees are safe.
- Zoro is completely lost in Water 7.
- Franky spent the 200,000,000 Beli he stole on buying the 'Adam' wood that was used on the Oro Jackson to make a ship.
- He plans to give the ship he is planning to build to the Straw Hats.
- Garp is a legendary marine who cornered Gold Roger on several occasions.
- Garp is Luffy's grandfather.

- Chapter 431 Delayed - Chapter 431 did not appear in this weeks Shonen Jump Magazine (Issue: ) and has been delayed until next week Week beginning 16th October 20006 (Issue: ). A recap chapter called the Grand Line Times has been released in place of the missing chapter.
