Sanji Flashback : Sanji ship is attacked by Zeff and the Red leg pirates. Suddenly a storm comes up and Sanji is overboarded by a wave. Against all expectation, Zeff jump into the sea to save him. They are seen later on a desert rock in the middle of the ocean.

The cruise ship has been attacked by pirates from Grand Line : The Red Leg Pirates and their chef-captain Zeff. Before a storm hit the ship, they hurry to steal every treasure from the ship, however when one of the pirate tries to still some food, he is violently kicked by his captain who does not permit that. Meanwhile Sanji does not accept this fate and has decide to bravely attack some pirates with his cook knives. He is easily beaten but does not surrender. The young boy does not want to die, until he has realised his dream to find All Blue. When they hear that, every one laugh at him beside Zeff.

Suddenly, the storm is here and a huge wave catchs Sanji who is overboarded. When he see that, Zeff acts strangely and decides to help the kid. He jumps into the sea after he has taken the ship mast with him. Short after, the ship is submerged by the storm.

When Sanji wakes up, he is alived but there is only two of them. Zeff explains him that their ships have sunk and that they have reached a desert island. They have no choice but to wait for rescue. They decide to increase their chance by scruting the sea from opposite sides of the island. Each of them has a small amount of food that they will have to spare. But when Zeff lets Sanji alone and reaches his side of the island, he starts to cut his leg with a rock.
