Buggy's Crew: After the Battle! Vol. 6

The new member Usopp show is talent by drawing a Flag to the Going Merry and being able to shoot correctly with the canon. The crew then discovers the need to have a good alimentation and starts to search for a cook.

[edit] Long Summary

On the Going Merry, Luffy displays his concept for the crew's jolly roger, a Straw Hat skull and crossbones. Needless to say, his drawing sucks, so Usopp decides to show him how it's done. After his personal jolly roger is shot down by Luffy and Zoro, the crew and Nami paint the improved Straw Hat emblem on the sails. After this, Luffy tries to hit a large rock in the sea with one of the ship's cannons, missing each time. Usopp displays his marksmenship, blasting the rock to pieces, and is named the sniper.

In the kitchen, a serious discussion is underway. There is one more position to be filled, something very important for a long voyage. Luffy agrees, it's time to recruit...A MUSICIAN!!! While the gang berate Luffy for his stupidity, a mysterious attack calls them out. After trouncing the sunglasses-wearing swordsman, Zoro is treated to a surprise; it's his old buddy, Johnny! It seems Johnny's partner Yosaku is dying! Unsure what to do, Johnny went to a rock in the ocean to think...the same one Luffy and Usopp used for target practice. Johnny thinks Yosaku is going to die, but Nami assures him it's just scurvy, and has Luffy and Usopp feed Yosaku some fresh juice.

Feeling better, we are officially introduced to the bounty-hunting team, Johnny and Yosaku.

The Straw Hats and Nami decide that they definately need a cook, and just so happens Johnny knows where to find one, though it's unclear if he'll join. A few days sailing from their current position is a very special restauraunt near the Grand Line, an ocean-going restaurant...

Luffy two other things he lacks - artistic skills and shooting straight. On top of that, they have no one who can cook.

Luffy mentions he needs a musician again.

Johnny mentions that "Hawk Eyes" often visits the place they are going to, but no clues to whom the person Zoro is seeking out are given or why.

Scurvy was a very common problem for sailors in the real world, particularly on long journeys. Lemons and limes tended to last the longest out of the fruit and were a popular choice for sailors, especially in the British navy.
