Luffy foolishly admits that they are pirates

Luffy, having just beaten Buggy, along with Zoro and Nami are aiming to leave the city, when the city inhabitants return. They find Boodle unconscious and Luffy foolishly accepts being the one that hit him.The town people turn against the "crew" and they run, because they don't wish to hurt anyone.

On the way, the town mob is stopped by Chu Chu, who protects Luffy and the others for avenging the destruction of his owner's shop and refuses to let the people pass. On the way back to the boat, they encounter the three Buggy pirates from whom Nami stole the boat earlier on. Luffy is carrying a tired out Zoro as on the pirates step out and taps Zoro on the head, saying that he shouldn't be weak and to show them who he is. After seeing Zoro's annoyed look the three jump into the sea and swim away.

Meanwhile the Mayor wakes up and finds his towns people around him. They inform him of Luffy and the rest. He is angered about the people insulting them and runs to the harbor to say thank you-and reaches it just as they are leaving on one of Buggy's boats.
