The Baroque Works association has some strange rules. In order to reach the envied agent seats, its members do not hesitate to kill each other for the seat. Mr. 11, who has been arrested by the Marines, learns it at his own expense.
Meanwhile, the Straw Hat have escaped the marines thanks to Ace and are going back to the Going Merry. They will depart to the desert in the search of the rebells leader. But before leaving, Vivi entrust Carue with a paper explaining her situation and what she has discovered. The duck has to deliver it to her father, Cobra, so that he will understand there is still hope.
