Lieutenant Commander Brandnew (ブランニュー少佐, Brannyū Shōsa) is the Marine at Marine Headquarters who assigns bounties to criminals.[1] He is the officer who announces Luffy's first bounty of 30,000,000 Beli. [2] He recently made a small appearance during the Battle of Marineford in chapter 554, where he was looking at Oars Jr..
