Water 7. A lot of pre-timeskip locations are underrated (of course discounting Amazon Lily because come on). It's basically got everything I ask for (from Aqua Laguna carrying All Blue's salt to the world's best shipwrights to wonderful architecture) if it just weren't sinking down into the sea.
@Goesregular WB is definitely stronger than Katakuri and he's also gotta be stronger than Big Mom. WB is only 6 years older than her so being both seniors, it ain't really that big of a gap. Also take note that Big Mom is a woman, and Oda's also an anti-thesis to a feminist so we won't see Big Mom stronger than WB himself just because of the epithet "Strongest MAN"... and not in a million years.
He appeared so weak during Marineford because he was actually dying one way or another. I remember him on IVs and having some sort of illness attack, so this means that he actually has a potentially mortal illness. But the power scaling between his commanders are the problem. I'm pretty sure Marco is between Queen and Katakuri, while Ace was most likely on Cracker's level, probably higher. Then we remember that the Marines have to win for now so that Luffy can actually have more reasons to be angry with the Marines and the Government, so sprinkle all the plot armor, blya-
My theory's not 100% foolproof though since Whitebeard wanted a "family" as his base model for his pirate crew. He didn't state which kind of "family" was it, whether meaning the Straw Hats-type of close-knit friends (known technically as "Family by Choice") where my theory works, or an actual nuclear adoptive family in which Whitebeard is the father and having a lover (definitely not Bakkin) as a maternal figure and the rest of the crew being "children" as a figure of speech being members of his crew. If the second theory was right, then this will debunk my theory as a whole.
There are lots of candidates to begin with, knowing the Whitebeard Pirates were around for at least 25 years before Marineford. Whitebeard was 72 when he died, he also stated that he was a pirate since he was a young man, and his eldest known division commander is only 47.
So there must be OGs who joined and were lost, so to be replaced by their Marineford crew as a result of his rivalries with pirates like Roger. The nice mystery here as since they were probably the guys that put the WB Pirates of the map, they must be way stronger.
Oooorrrr.... the Marineford crew was ought to have been weakened because the Marineford arc only looks like a battle between a Yonko crew and the entire Marine force *on paper*. I knew this with how Luffy fought the BM commanders (esp. Katakuri) and how detailed those battle scenes were. I assumed at least one of them must've been Katakuri-level, only nerfed for the sake of the limitations set by the time period being in the pre-timeskip era. It didn't really show much detail of how exactly would we scale Whitebeard and his crew as an Emperor as much as WCI arc did after the timeskip.
Hopefully, a flashback will.
@Michaelzz1 Right, otherwise the diversity of each Yonko member's abilities will be erased, and the hopes of a non-DF user to become *this* powerful gets eliminated.
While "Lev Ely" or "Levely" is Oda's official name for the event thanks to his excellent Engrish skills (just like "Sterry" vs "Stelly" or "Alabasta" vs Arabasta"), both "Jinbe" and "Jimbe" are unconfirmed spellings of the name. In fact, I've used a lot of names when referring to him like "Jinbei" (when I was only watching the anime) and "Jinbe" (when I started integrating with the rest of this wiki), but I never called him "Jimbei" (the "official" name used by Viz/Funi).
Do we have source material as to whether or not Shanks still doesn't have a DF at least before Timeskip?
After timeskip I'd say Luffy vs. Katakuri and Zoro vs. (manga spoilers) deserve it.
The Yeti Cool Brothers, those furry assassins from the cold half of Punk Hazard
Nah. That was all.
Nah mate, you're as weird as a person wearing a polo shirt and shorts on a sunny summer day.
Toei relies on volume material so there is almost no chance that the anime will catch up with the latest chapter. If the anime is already a roadkill, just imagine following the manga chapters that haven't been compiled into tankōbon volumes yet. We older veterans here have seen a lot of errors with the WSJ version and there will be changes in the volume version, which Toei has treated it as the final version of the manga way longer than us.
They're ultimately Mythical Zoan, but they'll be placed under various models of Hito Hito no Mi and other animal fruits. Leo for example (and its derivatives) would definitely be a lion derivative of the Neko Neko no Mi.
Savvmour, I think the formatting works the other way around.
Haoshoku Haki relies on willpower to stay standing. Being a son/daughter of Linlin does not necessarily mean they're powerful enough in terms of willpower. Just imagine how many sons and daughters are there? Good luck trying to know each other to avo-oh, step-siblings.
PS Flampe is just a slice of Blend S transplanted into One Piece. WTF Odacchi?!
Lurkeontheprowl I'm talking about BB replaced his position as Yonko, not the title of the Strongest Man.
^ He doesn't even recognize his existence.
Anyway, I don't think One Piece is some Filipino or Turkish drama series that deals with family values.
That's Blackbeard, bruh. Kaido is the "strongest creature" and they're two different things.
Gura Gura is already OP in itself though.
@Ayongwa Back then like 10 years ago, nope. He was seen saving Luffy from a Sea King and both of them are in the sea afterwards. That's the only valid evidence we have for now. He will be more of a Haki master instead. I don't think he has or will be because it will simply destroy the diversity of the Yonko.
